Get to Know Us

Our South Charlotte office is conveniently located at I-485 and Johnston Road. at the Ballantyne exit (61).  Parents have found it convenient from all of South Park, Arboretum, Matthews, Weddington, Blakeney, and Waxhaw.  See the map on location at 12105 Copper Way, Suite 102 adjacent to Ruby Tuesday.  We also see a number of patients from Steele Creek, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and the Lake Wylie area.

We realize that dental insurance is an important adjunct in making your child's oral health care affordable.  This is why we file most insurances and accept assignment of benefits, as a courtesy to our patients. We are a participating provider for pediatric dentistry at both locations for Cigna, Delta Dental, and Ameritas.

Dr. Scott has received advanced training and is certified in moderate pediatric oral conscious sedation dentistry, PALS (pediatric advanced life support).

Dr. Scott will review the medical history, and both you and your child will get to take a tour of the office.

  • Unlike many other pediatric dental practices, we welcome parents in the back for the child’s initial and check-up visits. If you are comfortable with your child going back on his/her own, that’s fine, too.
  • There is a computer with high-speed internet access for you and your child to use. Please do not bring food/beverages to the computer or kids’ play areas.
  • There are video games and TV/DVD's for the children to enjoy. We also have appropriate books/learning toys, dolls, and stuffed animals. There are TVs in the ceiling above every dental chair so your child can watch TV, bring his/her favorite DVD, or select from our numerous age-appropriate DVD's.
  • Check out the blue water faucet in the patient/parent restroom.
  • Please supervise your children at all times when they are not in the treatment area.
  • Please do not leave the office while your child is in the back.
  • If your child is over the age of 6, we recommend you letting your child come back on his/her own.
  • Children under the age of 6 typically do better at morning appointments.  It can be difficult for a young child to handle a dental visit around naptime, or later in the day.  We realize that it can be difficult for your schedule, but this is in your child's best interest.
